I thought this was just a stupid movie which is a spoof of JAWS...
But this was far better than my thought, and I'm really happy owning this film.
It's worth a purchase. You won't be disappointed.

Where were the deleted scenes???!!! - 3.75 out of 5 (5/6/2000)
The film was great, the audio was okay, the picture had some grain in it but where the hell were the deleted scenes? On the commentary track Joe Dante mentions deleted scenes shown on the ABC tv version, and I even own the novel and read about the deleted scenes. This would have been one of the better DVDs I own except they didn't put those deleted scenes in there that are probally now lost forever...Well, at least they show bloopers from some of them! I also wonder why they didn't put the trail

Ladies and gents, this is so nearly my favourite movie ever (At No.1 A Clockwork Orange, No.2 Walkabout), but this is my favourite DVD ever. No kidding.
I prefer this movie to Jaws. It's so easy to watch, absolutely anytime. But having the movie on disc is just too much. I had plans to sink my savings into a DVD production company that brought out old cult classics in sparkling form (a bit like if Criterion dropped their title selection standards a bit). That's how much I wanted it.
